Case Study: AT&T Digital Advocacy

As the largest telecommunications company in the world, AT&T faces a complex web of legislative and regulatory issues. Public Strategies has a 20-year relationship with AT&T, and together we pioneered the strategy for enabling our allies to participate in the rule-making process.

What Public Strategies does

PSI Digital participates in the client’s public affairs strategic planning and messaging, and among other strategies, is charged with getting advocates to act online. In coordination with the public affairs teams and third party coalitions in states across the country, we have developed an online advocacy program that includes social media, campaign websites, and e-communications to keep allies informed, engaged, and active on a wide variety of issues at local, state, and federal levels. This community of advocates stays engaged through social media efforts and grassroots meet ups, and takes action using our digital advocacy tools.

Measurement

Coalitions have been developed in eight states. Collectively, over 96,219 advocates participate in the legislative process…and the numbers continue to grow.
